Depends on the service. Strategy and brand work is scoped per engagement, with no ongoing commitment. Managed IT carries an initial 12 or 24-month term by tier (that’s what makes the pricing work), and after the initial term everything runs month-to-month with 90 days’ notice. Hosting & care plans are monthly, with two months free if you prepay the year. Whatever you choose, we put the terms in writing before you sign anything.
Santa Cruz County is home, and it’s where most of our clients are. We also work with businesses around the Monterey Bay, from Watsonville down to Monterey. What we don’t do is Silicon Valley. If you’re a San Jose startup or a big-tech vendor, we’re not your team.
Our sweet spot is teams of 2 to 25: past the founder-doing-everything stage, not yet ready to hire a full in-house growth team. We also work with organizations of up to 100 employees. If you’re outside that range we’re still happy to chat; we’ll just be honest about whether we’re the right fit.
Absolutely. Plenty of clients start with one (a brand refresh, an IT migration, a strategy sprint) and grow into more over time. We won’t push you to bundle, and we won’t penalize you for staying narrow.
For most engagements, two to three weeks from signed agreement to kickoff. IT onboarding typically takes four to six weeks to fully stand up. Urgent situations: we’ll do our best to flex.
