Accessibility statement.
How we make this website usable for everyone, and how to tell us when something isn’t.
Sproutling & Company wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification or voice control.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site partly meets this standard: most of it does, and the known exceptions are listed below.
How we checked
On 5 October 2026 we reviewed every page, the header, the footer, the mobile menu, the contact form and the FAQ. We:
- ran an automated scan (axe-core) of every page at phone and desktop widths;
- measured the contrast of text, form controls and focus indicators;
- checked that every page works at 320 pixels wide, the same as a desktop zoomed to 400%;
- inspected the markup of forms, error messages, menus and landmarks.
We fixed what we found, including low-contrast text, focus rings that could not be seen, tables that could not be scrolled with a keyboard, form errors that were not announced, and breadcrumb trails that screen readers read awkwardly. Links that open a new tab now say so to screen reader users.
Known issues
- A few small pulsing dots on the home and contact pages keep animating. They stop if your device is set to reduce motion, but there is no pause button.
- Some small text links, such as the breadcrumb links, are less than 24 pixels tall, which can make them harder to tap.
- The mobile menu button and the FAQ questions do not always tell screen readers whether they are open or closed. These come from a component we use, and we are following up with its maker.
Still to test
We have not yet tested the site with screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA), walked through every page with a keyboard alone, or checked Windows High Contrast mode. We plan to, and will update this statement when we do.
Content from other companies
Our privacy, terms and cookie policies are provided by Termageddon, and the cookie banner by Usercentrics. We do not control how they are built, and they may not fully meet the standard.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us through our contact page. Say which page you were on and what happened, and we will get back to you.
